We are mountaineers. Yep this is weekly planning son.
This week was crazy busy but as usual super fun!
If I haven’t mentioned before my companion is extremely musically talented. He has been playing guitar and cello bass since he was in middle school. He sings also because he is a beast. Anyways so he goes to the mission choir to do his important solo parts and I get to sing in the choir. We are learning a hymn in Tongan and that is probably the coolest thing I will ever do with music. That was on a Wednesday and right when we got home we had to hurry and bike to our lesson. It was crazy. We had a scheduled appointment for every hour that day until 9:30 that night. It was super busy.
We had Zone Meeting on Friday which was extremely spiritual and full of trainings that were awesome! I am so glad that we have the opportunity to attend those meetings because it brings the Zone together in unity and it allows us to spiritually strengthen each other.
On Saturday we went to another one of Elder Patterson’s old investigator’s baptism. It was a great turn out and had about 12 missionaries there at one point. We are blessed to be able to visit our old areas to see people we work with be baptized or go through the temple. Our mission president is so chill.
This week we had the opportunity to teach the Plan of Salvation twice. That is always such a powerful lesson. It is a lot of information to take in but Heavenly Father gives us all the things that we need in this life to return to live with Him again. We are so blessed to be sharing this message with everyone. I love being on a mission! We have decided that no one will ever be as famous as a missionary serving in Utah because everyone knows who we are.
Hey so turns out that an Elder in my District (Elder Stephen) is from the Bay Area. He knows John Blatter who is a mission president in Tacoma Washington. John was in his ward. His little sister is friends with Sarah Blatter because they played on the same rugby team. It is a really small world.
Anyways everyone enjoy your week! Thanks for sending me emails and pictures! You are all awesome.
