What a spiritual week! We had mission tour, three baptismal interviews, our own baptism, and Easter.

Mission Tour! President Christensen shook all of our hands in here

With the mission tour we had President Christensen of the Presidency of the 70 come to our mission. We had two days with him and half of our mission went to each one. It was awesome how he received specific revelation on what to say because both days had completely different subjects. Everything he taught was what I needed to hear. I am sure many others had their questions answered. It turns out that my grandpa on my dad’s side was his bishop in Bay Area of California when he was a young man. That was pretty cool to find out.

Everyone in our district had a baptism this weekend. The Lord is blessing us to be the missionaries to be able to bring these souls into the waters of baptism and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. People are going to move closer to Christ when they are ready. It is so cool to be the one to interview God’s children to see if they are ready for baptism. It is a great privilege.

Annalisa’s Baptism!

Annalisa got baptized! She was so ready. Her family were all members but had not been very active recently. Now they can make great strides to be sealed in the temple with their new addition to the family who was born on Tuesday!

Easter was so amazing. This was the first time that I had ever made Easter different than any other Sunday. It had impact on my life. Being able to listen to speakers testify of Jesus Christ and to be able to study about his life. He lives. I know it. I love it. And I will share that with the whole world.

Love,
Elder Jared Blatter
